Sensei Denis Douarre started karate in 1973 with Lautier Daniel Sensei who is his Sensei till that time.
He was taught also by the late Kasé Sensei, the late Enoeda Sensei, the late Myazaki Sensei, Sawada
Kazuhiro sensei and Delage Hervé sensei.
He lives in Le Manoir, near Rouen in France and teaches Karate-do JKA in the Dojos of Le Vaudreuil and Alizay near Rouen since 1982.
Also he works for France JKA to promote the JKA and
bring together the practitioners of Karate-do.
He was Competitor of Selection National team France between 1983 to 1988 and from 1996 to 2005. He was a member of the
National Technical Committee of France JKA, from 2005 to 2015 and is now the national technical director and Chief Instructor
of France JKA.
His philosophy is :
Modesty, respect, perseverance, every day practice, mainly JKA karate, Tai chi chuan, meditations to develop more peace and inner strength.
